A back-to-basics workshop going through the critical elements of Programmable Logic Controllers, Process Instrumentation, SCADA Systems, Process Control and Data Acquisition as well as highlighting the latest developments in these areas.

This is not an advanced course but a refresher so that you can get an understanding of the basics and future trends.

When you have completed this workshop you will:

• Understand the fundamentals of installing and programming Programmable Logic Controllers
• Understand how SCADA systems operates
• Know the basics of flow, temperature and pressure instrumentation
• Be able to tune a simple PID loop
• Be able to take advantage of the latest developments in PLC’s, SCADA and Process Instrumentation
