Practical Tuning of Industrial Control Loops
This workshop is designed to train you in the latest procedures for the tuning of Industrial Control Loops using a minimum of mathematics and formulas. Loop Tuning refers to the complex skill of adjusting PID controller parameters so that the control loop performs satisfactorily under all the operational conditions it is expected to cope with.
Presented by Dr Rodney Jacobs -
Rodney has over 20 years experience in the gold mining industry,
both underground, as well as specialising in Metallurgical operations in the Gold Plants. He has worked predominately in the instrumentation, process control and automation field, and is responsible for hardware and software designs associated with instrumentation. Areas of special interest include PLCs, SCADA systems, process control and programming.
These skills cannot be acquired on merely reading books or manuals; they require practice and practical experience and this workshop will provide you with the solid fundamentals in this area.
