This conference is for people to meet and exchange ideas on best practice in switchgear (incl. circuit breakers) and power cables. This will highlight technologies, best practice, and accelerate improvements in standards and regulations.
You will hear about and discuss applications, installations, maintenance and testing issues relating to medium and high voltage switchgear and circuit breakers. You will gain a solid understanding of the issues associated with the proper application, installation, and maintenance of these critical items of equipment with an overriding emphasis on safety. Case studies covering the main manufacturers' equipment will be covered. This conference will also explore power cables and is designed to ensure those responsible for the selection, laying, operation, maintenance and monitoring of power cables understand the technical issues involved and comply with relevant specification and requirements.
This two day event has attracted many experienced speakers and will highlight and examine the critical issues involved in the application and management of switchgear technology and power cables. It will provide opportunities for participants to discuss their experiences and applications with specialists in the area and emphasise the latest international practices and standards.
